Chapter 1071 - December 18, 2021 Membership Meeting
Our annual free Christmas breakfast for our members including spouses was a great success. Our attendance for this meeting had a total of 62 members and guests. Thank you to all who attended.

Chapter 1071 - November 20, 2021 Membership Meeting
Our November 2021 meeting started with the presentations of beautiful quilts for the members that signed up for them and were donated by the Quilts of Valor organization. Our attendance for this meeting was a total of 72 members and guests. Thank you to all who attended.

Chapter 1071 - October 16, 2021 Membership Meeting
Our October 2021 meeting guest speakers were Evelyn Flores and Keeley Haynes from Mountain Range High School. They spoke about the Veterans Day parade along with other events being held on Nov 10th 2021. Our attendance for this meeting was a total of 54 members and guests. Thank you to all who attended.

Chapter 1071 - September 18, 2021 Membership Meeting
Our September 2021 meeting was a tribute to our late member Al Roettger. The Fallen Soldier Memorial was set up and Steve Newton along with Jose Gonzales did the ringing of the bell. Our attendance for this meeting was a total of 53 members and guests. Thank you to all who attended.

Chapter 1071 - July 17, 2021 Membership Meeting
Paris Kiehl is one of three Tony Lopez Scholarship winners for 2021. Paris read her essay to our chapter. She will be graduating from Peak to Peak Charter School in Lafayette. She has been accepted and will be attending Colorado State University (CSU) in the Fall of 2021 to pursue a degree in Biomedical Services. Joe Ely, Vice chair, Colorado chapter, Employee Support of Guard & Reserves was the guest speaker. Member Gary Uyeda was the member speaker. Our attendance for this meeting was a total of 57 members and guests. Thank you to all who attended.

Chapter 1071 - June 19, 2021 Membership Meeting
Sophie Kiehl and twin sister Paris Kiehl are two of three Tony Lopez Scholarship winners for 2021. Sophie read her essay to our chapter. Sophie and Paris will be graduating from Peak to Peak Charter School in Lafayette. Both have been accepted and will be attending Colorado State University (CSU) in the Fall of 2021 to pursue a degree in Biomedical Services. The sister’s maternal grandfather served in the United States Navy in Vietnam. Three graduating seniors from Green Mtn HS, Colton Sark, Tyler McNeely and Crew Davis were invited to our meeting by Cliff Fejfar because they are one of 8 seniors joining the Marines. Our attendance for this meeting was a total of 70 members and guests. Thank you to all who attended.

Chapter 1071 - May 15, 2021 Membership Meeting
Members meeting and breakfast on May 15, 2021. Ava Espinosa is one of three Tony Lopez Scholarship winners for 2021 and she spoke to our chapter. She will be graduating from St. Mary's Academy in Denver. She will be attending the University of Portland (Oregon) in the Fall of 2021 to pursue a medical degree with the goal of advancing on to medical school. Both of Ava's grandfathers served in the United States Army in Vietnam. Our very own VVA 1071 member Bruce Gottschalk is Ava's maternal grandfather. Our attendance for this meeting was a total of 63 members and guests. Thank you to all who attended.
