VVA Chapter 1071’s members Stan Paprocki, John Thompson, Doug Nunes and Marty Chavez were invited by Ponderosa HS staff (AVVA Christy Kidd) to speak to students about their military and Vietnam experiences. 1071 members, Army veteran teacher, Army and Marine recruiters were treated to a wonderful lunch after the school session.

On December 8th members of VVA Chapter 1071 shared their experiences with the students of Ponderosa High School. AVVA member and school counselor Christy Kidd said, “Such a memorable experience for our students, staff, and recruiters. So many compliments about the presentation, and the character of the men sharing their stories.”
